The SS24 collection takes its inspiration from Christopher Isherwood’s work, "A Single Man", published in 1964. This collection delves into the profound interplay between the rigid societal constructs that confine men and the uncontainable surge of emotions kept hidden beneath their exteriors.
It initiates a dialogue about the intricate nuances of grief, as well as the expectations placed upon men regarding the overt expression or concealment of their innermost feelings.
In Isherwood’s novel, George grapples with the recent loss of his longtime partner, Jim, in a tragic car accident. George embarks on a transformative journey, marked by a series of encounters that imbue his senses with a vivid spectrum of emotions, ultimately illuminating the infinite possibilities of embracing life and humanity in our complex world.
